COVID-19 Safety Protocols for Patients and Staff

Effective for our reopening on 5/11/20:

Your safety and the safety of our employees is very important to us. We are reducing your in-person contact when you visit our physicians or nurse practitioners. To do this, we will contact you prior to your appointment to ask about your medical history and the reason for your visit.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Patients:

  • Come alone if possible (can bring one person if assistance is needed).
  • We will ask you for symptoms (coughing, shortness of breath, etc.).
  • We will take your temperature (if above 100.0°F or 37.8°C we will reschedule your appointment).
  • You will be required to wear a mask.
  • Please maintain social distancing.

So you know, all staff:

  • Are taking daily temperatures and checking symptoms; will stay home if ill.
  • Wear masks at all times.
  • Providers and clinicial staff will wear appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment).
  • Maintain social distancing.
  • Use proper hygiene.
  • Disinfect work surfaces.

COVID-19 Update

At the recommendation of the State of Ohio and our ENT governing body, we will only be seeing urgent patients EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. Our ancillary departments are CLOSED (CT, Allergy, Audiology/Hillcrest, and Voice).

We are making efforts to contact all scheduled patients to postpone or reschedule their appointments. We are also exploring telemedicine options and will keep you updated.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

In order to protect our patients and employees, we are screening all patients and family members that come to our office for any type of appointment. These restrictions are in place to protect against the spread of COVID-19.

  • If you are sick, have a fever or respiratory illness, please DO NOT COME TO THE OFFICE, please cancel your appointment and it will be rescheduled.
  • Patients will be allowed one person over the age of 12 to be with them at their appointment. If possible, please come alone to your appointment.
  • All patients and visitors will be screened for symptoms of illness upon arrival.
  • Screening questions:
    • Are you sick, do you have a fever or respiratory illness?
    • Have you tested positive for COVID-19?
    • Have you been exposed to someone with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19?
  • If the answer to any of these quesions is "yes" you will be asked to return home to help prevent the potential spread of illness. Your appointment will be rescheduled for a date >14 days in the future.
  • WE ARE NOT A TESTING SITE FOR COVID-19
